Common problems
Laser focus deviation Measure the position of laser focus and adjust it
Inadequate laser energy Check if laser works properly. If it does, check laser output and increase it if necessary
Slow cutting speed Increase the speed of linear motion during operation
Auxiliary gas is not pure enough Provide high-quality gas
Unstable operation after long-time running Shutdown and restart the machine
Can’t cut the carbon steel effectively
Sheet metal to be cut is too thick for the nozzle Change nozzle or alter the thickness of sheet metal
Cutting speed is too quick Slow down the motion speed
Other problems should be considered
Nozzle is severely worn Change the nozzle If no new nozzle is available, increase the pressure of auxiliary gas
Threaded connection between nozzle and laser head is loose Stop operation and fasten the screw
